Coppens receives ISO 22000 certificate
Coppens International bv is ISO 22000 certified since October 2009.
Coppens already possessed the ISO 9001 certificate for quality management which guarantees current and potential customers a highly efficient service and a product of excellent nutritional quality, delivered on time at our customers, with an excellent after sales service. This now is extended with food safety management which makes Coppens the proud owner of the ISO 22000 certificate. ISO 22000 is an international standard that defines the requirements of a food safety management system covering all organisations in the food chain. Coppens International is certified for the development, processing, sales and distribution of feeds for aquaculture and hobby application. At Coppens we think the European fish market is increasingly more demanding and aquaculture produced fish industry suppliers must be ready to meet these demands. The certification forms part of the company's sustainable development and growth strategy. It is a clear commitment to quality, the environment and food safety.
